With infants and toddlers, I think you're very much screwed. I think with a kid as young as 7 you could "train" him to at least keep quiet, stay close and move fast.

What do you think about surviving zombies with kids?

Surviving with children would be the hardest because they might not understand what is happening at the moment or have  at least some kind of small knowledge... but then again there children so sooner or later they would end up throwing a tantrum thus you trying so badly to shut them up... you end up screaming, them sceaming, being left behind, or unwanted attention being drawned to you. Plus the food, chlothes, we adults can goes days without food but the children will suffer even more then us. They need the food and etc.... making them unfit to travel until recovered

yes tantrums, those suck bad enough without zombies around.

If you had to choose----- your children or your own life

Im mean like there are zombies coming after you and the child/children are slowing you down, would you leave them to die or die with them.......... It's very hard and like either it's heart breaking.......... I would hate to make that decision

i would stay with my kids and die. i'm on the fence if i would kill them first myself. i would hate to have something like what happened in the movie The Mist when the guy kills his son so the approaching monsters don't get him and 2 minutes later soldiers and refugees pass by a few feet away. if only he waited 2 mintues!!!

i have a 4 year old and an infant. my daughter i think i might be able to survive with because she's older, especially if i'm with other adults. but my son would get us all killed--he cries too much, even for a baby.

if the world ever does collapse, zombies or otherwise, hopefully it's when they're both at least 7. for some reason 7 and 10 seem manageable for me.

Well why else would we need to do that? For sick satisfaction? Ha! That would be funny but luckily we are civilized men......

Hmn. . . but one thing to consider is that children, out of any age, can adept the easiest to difficult situations. A child growing up during the initial years of an outbreak would make one badass, conditioned survivor once they're older.
