In a zombie outbreak, what do you think is the best to do MAINLY:

Barricade and Stay in a Location

or

Keep on the Move

Ready, Set, Go!

Keep on the move. Whenever you change location you should barricade it at least a bit and in the first few days to a week after the initial outbreak and the global panic that will follow you shouldnt leave but after that GTFO!

Stay put if it's safer at least to ground yourself and get a feel for what the fuck is going on. Then, Move! Try to find temporary shelters to rest and evalute, staying a few days at most. Perhaps, establish a territory within which to move about, setting up as-safe-as-can-be safe-spots to go to.

I would hide from the massive initial panic, because then the people would probably be more dangerous than the zombies themselves, but after that I would stay in the area I am familiar with, and have several outposts spread out to move around through, never staying at one place to long. However I would be mostly safe from the gigantic hordes the mainland continents would experiance. I live on Vancouver Island in BC, and the terrain between cities is fairly rugged. Besides, even if the island becomes to dangerous to inhabit, there are THOUSANDS of islands surrounding us, a lot of them which could even be fully self-sufficiant, I can think of at least twenty of the top of my head.

Hmmm Van city wouldn't exactly be the nicest place to be during an outbreak..... there is alot of people there. Not to mention the whole walking underwater zombies. Islands wouldn't help... heading to the rockies would help. Personally I would go... first to loot a gun store second to a more rural setting to avoid the mass of the outbreak.

Bug in for the first few weeks, then to the closest marina for a boat large enough to live on. Sail into deep water and relax until you need to resupply.
